The Pinewood Derby is an annual parent/scout project where you can design and build a race car from a block of wood. Cub Scouts learn the valuable lesson of sportsmanship, racing their cars on a gravity track against their fellow Cub Scouts. They can receive prizes for speed, design, originality, etc.
