Our Oct 6 Cub Scout meeting is going to focus on the Outdoor Adventure. We'll do this as a pack and each scout will be able to earn their Outdoor Adventure belt loop.

Our objective is to go on a 1-mile hike and review the following principles.

• Everyone should bring their "6 essentials" and wear weather appropriate attire: 

1. first aid kit 

2. whistle 

3. water bottle 

4. flashlight, 

5. sunscreen 

6. trail food

• Know before you Go: We'll meet at the McAlpine Creek Park parking lot at 4:30P. Maps of the area will be provided and our path marked.

• Trash your trash: have a plan to dispose of your own trash or trash we find along the path.

• Leave what you find: Take pictures or draw sketches of what we see.
