Welcome

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to Cub Scout Pack 140!

As we enter our fifteenth year of Cub Scouting in Pack 140, we are confident that we have put together a program for our Scouts in which they will have FUN (with a purpose), learn useful life skills, learn about the importance of conservation, and develop friendships that will last.

It is our desire that Pack 140 continues to be known for delivering:

  • FUN, FAMILY ORIENTED ACTIVITIES

  • QUALITY SCOUTING PROGRAM

  • PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

While we don’t expect ALL of our Scouts to become rocket scientists, professional athletes, or world-class artists, we do expect them to live up to the Cub Scout motto of “DO YOUR BEST”, each to his own ability. The single most important key to a successful Scouting program is parental involvement. All of our leaders, committee members, and event coordinators are parent volunteers, and it is our objective to have each parent participate, as much as they can, each to his or her own ability.

The joys and benefits of working with your Scout as he travels along the Scouting trail are awesome, whether it be standing along side of him as he earns an award, helping build a Pinewood Derby car, working side-by-side on a service project, or faithfully attending meetings. You will quickly learn that Cub Scouting is truly a FAMILY experience. That is why we proudly call ourselves, the Pack 140 Scouting Family.
